ROGUE TRADERS ARE ACTIVE IN YOUR AREA

Good afternoon,

We have received a report that very recently, individuals believed to be rogue traders attempted to persuade an elderly and vulnerable resident in the Etching Hill area to agree to unnecessary work at their property.

Fortunately, a family member arrived at the address and was able to intervene before the situation escalated.

Please remain vigilant, particularly if you have elderly or vulnerable relatives, friends or neighbours. Rogue traders often target people at home and may pressure residents into agreeing to work that is unnecessary, overpriced or of poor quality.

Our advice:

If you are concerned about rogue traders operating in your area, please report suspicious activity to Staffordshire Police on 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress.
